The Gifford Family

Crafting Excellence From Hive to Home

What began in the summer of 2008 as a simple curiosity between a father and son has grown into a refined family craft rooted in devotion, heritage, and the quiet mastery of beekeeping.

From that first hive, our journey unfolded.

Over the years, our small beginning has blossomed into a full, working farm producing an array of artisanal goods. With more offerings than we could reasonably transport to markets, we chose to bring the experience home. Today, our full collection is available here.

Every product is created here on our farm — thoughtfully, intentionally, and with uncompromising standards.

Our Estate Honey is shaped by the rare purity of the Northeast BC Peace Region— a place internationally recognized for producing some of the highest‑quality honey in the world.

The untouched northern air, pristine wildflower forage, and long summer light creates a nectar profile found nowhere else on earth.

Our signature offerings include our Estate HONEY and our Apitherapy Skincare Collection, a line shaped by the healing intelligence of the hive and elevated through meticulous formulation., and the bounty of our farm.

Robert is our Master Beekeeper and Garden Steward — the calm, steady presence behind the hives and the fields. His knowledge is deep, his hands steady, and he is always ready to share insight with anyone who asks.

Charlene is the keeper of the store and the creative force behind our product line. As a product developer, website curator, Master Food Preserver, cheesemaker and award winning photographer she brings both artistry and precision to every item we offer.

Every item we make is thoughtfully produced, carefully crafted, and enjoyed by our own family before it ever reaches yours.

Our commitment is simple:

To create products of exceptional quality,

made with care, integrity,

and the timeless beauty of the hive.
